Our first snow is coming down , winter is here for sure, today my chickens had their last day walking the yard , they will definitely be cooped up for a few days. I winterised the coop so they will be fine!
In Maine in our woods ,this is what I captured as the sun was about to go over the mountain, the next few days I will post some woodland scenes, the leaves are falling fast ,about another week and it will be all gone and the woods will have a different look before the snow will set in .
This is the time of year when you put all extra vegetables on the window sill ,and what a great subject for a quick still life ,tomorrow it will be in a sauce!

Our last night in Paris was at this quint Hotel in the "Quartier Latin" A place I try to visit every year, close to a lot of fun things to do and see , perfect area for an Artist to stay!
April that is turned into January, rain , snow sleet just a mess! I managed to paint this small still life today , while I really wanted to go out and paint.

We woke up with 6 inches of snow, and not in the mood to paint anymore snow, the trees were very pretty and I could of painted some but I am thinking spring , and go to the ocean .
