Hydrangea's on quilt,copyrighted 2009, Nita Leger Casey
5x5 watercolor
Decided to do another quilt painting, not sure if I like it yet ?I think the flowers are too close to the quilt colors, the quilt is an antique I bought in South Carolina a few years back, the flowers are from my garden, the wicker chair I just bought for $ 5.00 at a garage sale. It takes a lot of prop to do a still life ,I am always looking for things .I probably will paint this quilt again with different flowers.

Today was the Portland show , I missed not going there mostly to visit with my artists friends, but the weather has been so hot and humid I was glad I did not go after all , I sure hope they had a good day! if you are interested in this painting let me know in a email .I am asking $300.00 matted , free shipping .

4x6 original watercolor post card

I had to go to the dentist today , something I do not like to do, when the dentist looks in your mouth , he always finds things you do not want to know, like oh! you have bone lost, let's do a full set of X rays , all I can think , what is this going to cost me ? but he is a very nice dentist and knows I only go when I really have to.
