Back from a week art retreat in Lubec, Maine where the Internet connection was not my friend due to a lot of fog and rain, Lubec is so far up North, you might as well being in another country . We did have a good week of painting and fun, the weather didn't stop us! This scene is in front of the rental house, a scene you never get tired of , love getting up in the morning, have our coffee and see the fisherman get ready for their daily catch, also watch the fog rolling in and out so peaceful! and I guess a week without the perfect connection was not that bad, except it kept me from blogging .
if you are interested email me nlcasey@charter .net $225.00

Evening fog on the pond
watercolor 5x7 copyrighted 2030
Nita Leger Casey
As I was walking Clancy this evening ,after a day of rain, huge downpours ,sun and rainbows ended the day with a nice fog over the pond ,I tried to catch what I saw. A wet on wet affect is always tricky to do, the photo of the painting is not the best it looks a lot better ,but I am remote and away from my scanner. email me if interested nlcasey@charter.netWednesday, October 10, 2012

Just remembering the nice summer in Maine , this was one of our typical morning there , before the fog would lift , I love that kind of morning!
Fall is starting fast a lot of leaves are falling already after this extreme hot and dry summer , I wonder if the fall will be as beautiful it should be , we will see in a few weeks , my brush and paint will be ready!
This painting is available , email me if you are interested, reasonable price!

Le Chemin , The path

I have a feeling people are sick of snow!
I have put aside my snow scene series for awhile.
This is a scene that I have walk many times ,{Le Chemin} translation the path , It was located closed to my mother's house in France , at the end of this path I was always sure to find the morning fog. Europe has a lot of fog!
