 Getting ready to go on my yearly painting retreat ,this is a scene close to where we are staying ,at the distance you can see the fog rolling in at Bailey's Mistake  in Lubec Maine.  It will be nice to smell the  fresh ocean air, and see the lobster boats in the morning with the fisher man going to get there catch!

I worked on the computer must of the day today, working on a writing projects for a book on the History of the pond in Maine , taking a little bit of my painting time, but then again this hot and humid weather has me feeling with low energy, every body is complaining so I am not the only one feeling this way.
This is also another scene of the Lubec area painted on location .

Tide Mill, pastel sunset My life should go back to normal after ten days of travelling , company, baby setting ,cooking ,
parade, concerts ,fire works, and not much painting. I have to get caught up with my work ,it will be another challenge, some commissions are also waiting for me. Oh well !I am sure we are all in the same boat .

Low tide in Maine

I am still working on my commission , but glad to report I finished it , my client should be happy !

I don't work that often in Pen & ink anymore ,I used to do a lot of them for advertising ,but now with color printers and scanners etc , it is not much in demand . I will post again something I painted this past summer
