It was March 11, my daughter had taken me to visit Charleston and some beautiful plantation along the coast, this one happen to be Botany Bay Plantation, so peaceful and serene. We had a great time until we got a call from home talking about the virus. My grand daughter was to get home from NY the next day, and I was to live South Carolina  the day after, before it got to dangerous to fly. Well that was the start of confinement,  two months later and still at home !
I did paint this scene as soon as I got back .

Busy beaver # 2 pastel version

6x8 pastel  copyrighted 2012
Nita Leger Casey
Decided to paint the same scene in a different medium to give you an idea any scene can be done with a different choice of paint ,some colors are just stronger and vibrant, also have to be framed differently .
If I have time tomorrow or the day after I might do an oil also . The reason I say time tomorrow I have to take my husband to have surgery on his toe, he has diabetes this dreaded disease ! he was fitted for some special shoes and it was not done right, now he has to have surgery, he couldn't feel that the shoe was too small ,I wish they would find a cure for diabetes ,it is an awful disease to have .email me if you have any questions .nlcasey@charter.net

I decided to not post any more chickens , they was too many on Daily Painters ,and way too many in my yard right now , but I do enjoy watching them!
After going to the pastel show on Saturday ,I felt like doing more , so here is another one of a scene on the coast of Maine .
