The tide is coming in, copyrighted

When you go away from the studio for a couple weeks, the work do pile up and this is what I am doing now , emails ,correspondences, dateline to enter shows and organizing the work and project I worked on location and off course cleaning the house pay attention to the family and animals ,forget the garden , it's too far gone!
This is a large pastel of the bay on the backside of the farm where I was staying for two weeks , being a salt water farm , the tide goes in a goes out twice a day.

I will be going to the Tide Mill farm to paint again, my yearly trip to this wonderful place in Northern Maine, this was painted early in the morning on location.

Today I had the pleasure to be a judge a local art exhibit . It was very nice, a good mixture of work, a bit of a challenge to be fair with everyone , but at the end I think it worked out well for all the artists in the show, I hope they will be happy ! they have a dedicated leader and that's what it takes for a local group to survive these days . The show is up , it looks good ,now let see if the public responds. It was a beautiful day in Portsmouth with lots of people walking around .
