Shadows on the road , oil miniature (c) 2010
Nita Leger Casey
When you drive in the back roads of New Hampshire ,this is what you see , lots of shadows crossing the roads , lots of snow banks and sometimes some colorful foliage, it sure made me stop to take a photo . It was another very nice day today , I tried to find a place to paint in plein air,, but all the places I wanted to paint , they was no way to park my car for a long time , so i contented myself just to take many photos of the beautiful winter landscape , later Tim and I drove to visit some relatives we have not seeing in a long time , all in all a good day !

I adore this one! I'm glad that you took the safe route with painting from photos. Sometimes roads just don't lend themselves to artists, especially in winter!
