While I was making supper I looked out the window and saw this beautiful Sunset ,I  had to stop everything I was doing and grabbed my watercolor, I had to be quick! you know  a sunset does not last long, to even go faster I took an artistic licence to take the house out that was in my way.On the left it's an apple tree where many deer come to get the old apples .

Today I finely started doing some cleaning in my studio, why do we keep every art magazine that was ever printed ? I could open my own book store right now, I actually have Southwest Art and American Artist from the late 70's. I started decorated my living room for the holidays and realized I had no room for the Christmas tree , paintings everywhere! panic... they must find a home for the holidays , so please help me out and adopt one of these children.
I actually painted this last March , I was coming home from Boston, the sun was going down and all along the highway going North these similar scenes of shadows and reflections in the icy streams were repeating , the next day I painted this scene from memory.
oil on canvas 10x20 175.00 a bargain!
