This is a very serene pastel scene of the coast of Maine , wild roses are everywhere in the summer ,painted on location, this painting is matted and frames by a professional framer with a dark wood Italian frame. It would look great in any decor .if you are interested in this painting email me .

Wild roses by the Seashore
Beautiful day, I was at the gallery for a few hours and worked on this pastel of a photo I took last summer in Maine when the tide was in .I think the contest has started in Daily Painters to paint 2000 paintings this month, this will be #1 for me , but it is actually #200 since November .
6x9 pastel email me if interested nlcasey@charter.net
This painting is now 100% framed in conservation ,going to an exhibit.

Cottage on the hill
This was a study, done on location this past summer, for a larger painting ,witch I later painted. but sometimes the sketch captures exactly what you wanted, and this was the case, the end of the day with a bright sun light on the cottage . I love to do those small sketches on location just about anywhere , with no large set up. I am hoping to achieved this next week in France
