With the little time right now ,I am happy at least to show you the miniatures I am painting for my collector .
We have loons on our pond and we love them and watch over them , I don't know how old they are , but I know they are back every Spring , we have made special nest for them ,because of the water fluctuation ,it's a good thing to do ,we count them every July and sent the report to the State of Maine , they are like family on our pond ! the sound they make is something you will never forget , they do not like plane and let you know it .
I think my studio is ready for work , today I painted the last wall , looks really good !

Loon nesting,copyrighted2008
All good things comes to an end , going home tomorrow after a wonderful week at the pond, today my friend and I in our kayaks went to check on the loon nest to see if the baby was born , we have been waiting and counting the days , we have a set of loons on the pond that is well protected by all of us here, we worry about them like our kids . The scene fresh on my mind was painted as soon as i got back .

Loon at the pond

Yesterday, I talked about a loon that comes by and visits ,here it is in a foggy early morning before i went on my kayak for a ride, I took my sketch book along with me to take notes of some scenes along the shore, one thing I have not figured out is to keep the kayak still while sketching. going back home tomorrow after a very nice week end.
this is a small ACEO in acrylic , sold
