Cutler village

9x12 Watercolor (c) 2012
Nita Leger Casey
The paintings I have posted are from my summer in Maine, The cute little village of Cutler on the Maine coast below Lubec. I have painted there at least once a year for the last 20 years, it has not changed! well maybe they don't have a store anymore so if you need milk or want a cup of coffee ,you might have to drive 20 miles for that ,but they have plenty of lobster! If you are interested on this painting email me nlcasey@charter.net

View from the retreat
Oil 6x6 copyrighted 2010
Nita Leger Casey
This is the beautiful view from our retreat, this spot is so beautiful we do not have to go far to find endless scenes. We did go in town today in Machais , because it is my turn to cook with my friend Tammy, we went one way and came back on the cost road via Cutler ,so many beautiful vistas it took us a long time to get home lots of photos to take , our meals are so good here ,no restaurant could come close to what we make here .

Cutler fishing shack

What a day today! My husband gave me a new flat screen monitor and my son installed it today with a bit of disappointment, all my graphics look distorted and the colors washed out ,we must have spend four hours trying to adjust it . I guess it will take some use to it or I will put the old one back. Because the lack of painting time today, I am posting a summer plein air painting, I often paint in this small Maine coast village.
this is a watercolor 8x10 matted $100.00 email me at nlcasey@charter.net
