Well I complained about the cold weather , and now we are having a heat wave in April , for New England , that is a bit bizarre , so everything in the flower garden needs my attention , and limited time left to paint , I did not post for two days , rare for me ! so if you don't see a post you know I am outside cleaning ,planting etc... , having a house in a Historic district on a hill , demands lots of care , wish I could afford a gardener !

Le petit village
Remodeling is still going on , just finished the demolision , the kitchen is all apart sitting on the deck right now ready to go in a dampster, what a job! but while doing all this work ,my mind is on my next painting ,so for now I am posting some of my watercolors .

The tablecloth

In France most poeple in rural towns dry their clothes and sheets and tablecoths on the line outside , a great way to conserve energy! off course the new mothers of today do have dryers .
This house was in in the town were my mother lived for many years in the Sologne region.

The Frame Shop Gallery, Hollis, NH

I will post only a few more of the French show ,before returning to the daily routine, I am right now working on some commissions and the dateline is almost here , also trying to spend time at the gallery to meet potential collectors. My days are full from morning to night.

now showing the" Back Roads of France "exhibit.

The month of June ,the show has travelled to another location , only a few miles from my house in Massachusetts.
If you are in this area please visit the show,at the post office green ,Tuesday-Friday 9 am to 6pm
Saturday 10am to 2pm. I hope to plein air paint in the area of Hollis , being a beautiful new England village.Today it was a very stormy and dreary day , rained all day! so I am hoping for some great weather all month.
This is large painting framed with a Gold plein air frame 20x24 for sale at the gallery.
