This was a commission done from a client 's photograph, I truly enjoyed the process because it was the most beautiful scene to paint in a triptych style .

As I promised I would post this today to give you an idea of working with different photos ,as the years went by for this family and the many memories they have shared of this cute camp on a lake in New England.

This is an example of a house portrait that someone gave as a present for Christmas , I did not want to post this before she received it, It was a lovely house and it was a pleasure to work on it, I think she liked it, I was told!
A house portrait is a wonderful gift for any occasions , just keep me in mind for a future painting . email me and I will be happy to give you more details .

Commission of house portrait
The relatives are on the plane to Paris ! they had a wonderful time visiting this area ,So back to work now.
This commission was picked up this morning of a house in Pepperell , a lovely present from a daughter to her parents, a wonderful keepsake of the house she grew up in .

I am so fortunate to live in this beautiful area
of the country with so much history. When I get a commission to paint a Historical house I get exited! This was one of them .
Here is another example of my house portraits. I prefer watercolor, but I also do them in oil or pastel .
