Mr. Cardinal
Miniature 2,5x3,5 (c) 2010
Nita Leger Casey ,
It snowed all day today, feeding my birds as usual and became fascinated with them , I had so many you would of think they were having there last supper , I replenished the plate 4 times , at one time I could see four cardinals , never close to take a picture all together , but i did get some good ones . The snow ended and now it's rain turning to ice ,I wonder what it will be in the morning . My plan today was to paint something else , but couldn't resit the birds .
email me nlcasey@charter.net, if you are a collector of miniatures or aceo , my miniatures come in a beautiful card and a certificate of authenticity .

"A village for the birds "
original watercolor , copyrighted
We are now experiencing an ice storm , looks like I won't be walking in the morning , the one thing I fear is falling , Clancy is not crazy about the rain so I don't think he will be upset about not walking.
I finely finished all my commission work , hope the people who will received their house portrait under the tree will be happy .
Now I must write my Christmas cards .
The watercolor I am posting today is an original of one of my Christmas cards of years past, I would love for someone to buy it and appreciate. It was also my front porch all decorated that year .$ 100.00 , 6x6 watercolor , email me if you are interested nlcasey@charter.net

Spring still life #2 copyrighted2008

Got up early to walk Clancy , and on to paint another of my spring still life , looked at a different design , when you set up a still life , it is fun to approach it a different way, I probably could paint 4 or 5 paintings with just one set up. I must paint these spring flowers now while they are in abundance and i am exited about doing them , I love the season and it dictate what I am going to do.

Hilton Head island White Egret

What a beautiful sunny day today, still cold in the mornings when I walk with Clancy . Today I went to our local high school NMHS, my young neighbor and two classmate had a class project on world studies , so I went to talk about how it was growing up in France , it brought back a lot of memories living there and going to Art school .This after noon I was a bit press for time so I only painted a miniature of the birds from my last trip to HHI , I would like to do more in a larger format.
