Hagerstown, Maryland

Watercolor 5x7,(c)2012
Just took a five day trip to visit our kids in Maryland, it was nice to see them and have Mother's day there, the highlight of the trip was really to watch our two grandsons play baseball, both are very good and proud of their game !
The town of Hagerstown is very nice,I love the downtown area ,a nice old fashion town with beautiful architecture , art center playhouse lots of new restaurant ,we ate at the Rhubarb House restaurant, very nice! great food and atmosphere. We have been going to the area for about 14 years and the town has grown on the outside with malls and housing area like mad, the downtown has the character I love in a American town, and great for an artist to paint. Also very friendly!
This watercolor is available ,email me if interested .nlcasey@charter.net

Nita, it never ceases to amaze me how you get so much real and implied detail in such a small format.

Glad that you were able to be with the kids for Mother's Day. Any town that has a Rhubarb House restaurant has got to be a quaint place. Great name.

Super cool painting...
