The Dam Dinner

Watercolor 11x14
©2015 Nita Leger Casey
This summer has been so busy for me with projects on our cabin in Maine, traveling back and forth, that my time to blog has been minimized, I figured I needed a brake anyway, I started almost 10 years ago, I can't believe where the time has gone. Sometimes we need to change our routine!
But I still did a lot of painting and this one is one of them ,a local place in a small town in Maine .not for Sale at the moment , but i have plenty of paintings in my inventory so please look ,you might see something you like . always email me nlcasey@charter.net .
Also we have open studio at  WESTERNAVENUESTUDIOS.COM  this Saturday noon to 5

Still painting scenes from Lubec after spending a week there, I never get tired of painting little street scenes in New England . While I was there I did mostly pastels but I do love doing a watercolor, I find it very relaxing! and yet today I went to my studio and painted a large pastel as well, I do want a new body of work by September for open studios  that is my goal!
this watercolor is available , email me if you are interested nlcasey@charter.net.

Seen better days, in Maine

6x8 watercolor
Watercolor © 2013  sold

Just came back from Maine, after a nice week there, you can tell  it's the end of the summer and fall is right around the corner a few picking colors here and there , we took a ride across our pond to find a friend who had moved when I came up on this old corner store  who had seen better days ! over the years I have seen this country store with different owners, a little sad when no one can seem to be  able to make a living there. Maine as a lot of these small places sometimes so far remote from populated area and yet needed by many! I decided to paint the poor thing in a watercolor ,maybe someone will recognize it. email if you are interested nlcasey@charter.net
