What a wonderful day my friend Priti and I had , we took a drive to Gloucester visited the North Shore art Association , watch a Watercolor demo and the New England Watercolor Society show , just beautiful ! later went to Rocky Neck the oldest art colony, visited some great galleries , the original Emil Gruppe Gallery now occupied by his son Robert was the best , we came out very inspired by all the nice paintings we saw today .The drive home was beautiful a Spectacular sky and Sun set all the way home .Yesterday was also a great day at my studio where I painted this scene of my mini series on the town of Kingfield, Maine
These watercolors are available at a real good price of $ 100.00 matted and certificate of authenticity . email me nlcasey@charter.net

The snow came , the ice and now the rain on top of that , you just can imagine the mess we have outside , the dogs nearly drove me crazy all day while painting , they are upset over this weather. Our breakfast club was canceled again , we have no luck on the Wednesdays since the beginning of December .
This small scene was the usual Saturday morning in this small town where my mother lived in her later years , we would parked the car and walk trough this small street to reach the open market , a real treat for my kids when they used to visit there Grandmother.
My French series of paintings are the true back streets of France .
email me if you are interested to become a collector of these original gems .

Lubec Village
We are getting close to the holidays when ,you see every town with a church craft fair ,open house , opening of shows , holiday tours etc... . I spend my day going to all of them , maybe to get myself in the holiday spirit or just to support my friends, it was a nice day!
I didn't get any painting done , but sometime you have to take a day off.
this post is of a larger painting of a village I paint in the summer , I have painted this scene on location and then change colors & seasons , it is of a typical New England scene using artistic licence.
16x20 oil on canvas , framed with a nice gold framed $ 1200.00
all my work is original and copyrighted.
email me if interested nlcasey@charter.net
