Chateau de Fontainebleau
Watercolor 6x8 (c) 2011 by Nita Leger Casey
When I was a young , This castle was one of my favorite to visit with my family , at the time not so much for the castle itself but the gardens and the fish ponds , they used to have the biggest red fish in it , I only lived about an hour from it ,so it was a Sunday ride or a school field trip , the inside is just beautiful! I took this photo a few years ago ,Tim and I had lunch right across the street from it .If you go to France ,this is a good one to visit , this was my choice to paint today at the studio in a very rainy day .Email me nlcasey@charter.net if you are interested in this watercolor .

It is so "French", Nita! You have done a beautiful job with this - love the winding staircase.
