This is the season when you drive by frozen ponds just about everywhere in New England ,a natural beauty and lots of fun for the kids who skate on them and the big boys who go ice fishing, but for me it's to see the sunlight coming through the trees ,I did this one last year.
Looking for a home now, it's matted and framed with an 8x10 dark wood frame. $150.00 , email me if you are interested .

Large pastel 19x25 ©2013
Nita Leger Casey
I have just finished this one, still on my easel! not sure if I will have time to frame it before the open studios this week end, I captured this scene on our way to our favorite restaurant couple weeks ago, the shadows made me totally turned the car around to this field ,these moments of the perfect light only last minutes .At the same time I was working on the door project at Wester Avenue, it looks great , a few minor details to finish. The week will be very busy for me party on Friday night, opening of our show at the Loading dock gallery Saturday night, and two days of open studios with lots of visitors!
