Summer gladiolas,copyrighted 2008
This painting was painted at the Tide Mill farm this summer, I had bought the flowers for a rainy day so we would have a still life arrangement to work from. Well Gladiolas are not an easy flower to do in acrylic , I more or less simplified the blossoms. I worked on a watercolor one last week and did like it much better, different medium ,different look!
