Full Moon over the bay Sold
The rain much needed came today, the flowers need it , but it sure made a dreary day , a great day to paint after my morning cleaning . Clancy was asleep all day a bit depressed after Bosley left yesterday , that is my son's dog , I was watching him all week, they had played so much during the week both young and full of energy ,of course they are like kids ,you have to watch them every minute , one time Bosley got a hold of a yellow tube of oil paint ,he had it all over his face and paws ,that was a job cleaning him !
oil 5x7 . it is so beautiful when the moon is over the water.

Red sky at night ?
Red sky at night , sailor's delight, red sky morning sailor's takes warning , I think that is how the saying goes, being French I tend to mess up these little saying with my own versions, my kids often make fun of what I come up with!
Oh well, I do pretty good for someone who came to this country not speaking a word of English , it didn't take me long to learn , and surely never expected to have things written in my own language like they do today.
I am having fun painting these colorful skies , I hope you enjoy them , don't be afraid to buy one , they do need a home! email me if you are interested .

Tide Mill in the evening
Spring is here, all the trees are in blossoms ,it just happened over night with the heat we had this week , we certainly deserve it after this horrible winter. I am still on my sunset / sunrise series
it's amazing to see all the different sky's I have captures with my camera , it has to be the must beautiful part of the day , it's like God takes a paint brush and show us how to paint!

Summer evening in Maine I don't know how I managed to paint all day today , it was a sad day here ,my cat molly who was 19 years old decided to take matters into her own hands so to speak , she was in kidney failure and I had made the decision to put her down today, well during the night she got out of a window and this morning she was no where to be found , I took breaks looking for her , I know that is what she wanted to end it natural in her own way , she was a smart and wonderful cat and we will certainly miss her terribly .She used to be a great model to paint .
This painting was fun to do ,because it had a bit of abstract quality an a bit different for me.

Maine sky 2
A sky can be the most beautiful abstract painting we get from God almost every morning and every night , you never see the same design twice ,the colors can be so beautiful and so unreal you wonder how it happens , I am fascinated with them at times , when I am painting at the farm in the summers in Maine with all my friends we go totally crazy taking pictures of the most beautiful sky over the hills of the farm or over the bay.
I am longing for my summer trips to Maine .

Art show display for a fund raiser to benefit UNICEF

And guess what ? nobody came , all of us artists spent 10 hours on a Saturday to welcome the
nice people of Westborough and surroundings for a worldly cause , It seems the people were too busy for such event , what a shame ! The organisers were wonderful and really worked hard on this project.
The life of an Artist can be very disappointing at times , you work so hard for so little and many disappointments that have gone on for centuries . But one thing we are strong and try to never let get us down and keep on painting ! Of all my years doing shows , I must say this was a first of this kind . Oh well you win some you loose some! better next time.

No post today .

La Cathedral d'Orleans , French series
The pressure was on today, I received so many compliments for the one I posted yesterday , and hope I would do this one as good, I used to walk this street to go to Art school , it was behind the Cathedral ," L'Ecole des Beaux Arts " I do have some some great memories of this street, at the end of it, we had a huge art supply store , still there after 40 plus years ,sometimes my boy friend , now husband use to meet me at the first corner by the flag , of course my parents did not know that, I would of been in trouble!
